From the supplier in China to your warehouse– we oversee the entire logistics process. As a result, we know exactly where your container is and can make time adjustments if necessary. We can see exactly which goods are in your container.
We have divided the journey your goods take before they arrive at your or our warehouse into four transport legs. Each transport leg has its own challenges as well as solutions. By keeping our finger on the pulse at all times, we identify any delays or problems in time and can adjust accordingly. Because with our experience, we also know how to accelerate when necessary.
Transport leg one:
in production
At the first transport leg, your goods are in production and need to be moved from the supplier to the port. Here, we look at the cargo date, the booking date and the estimated time of departure. We also look at the required pick-up date and whether it will be met. We calculate this based on the current transit times throughout the entire supply chain. Because we are also represented in China, our people can interact more easily with suppliers.
Transport leg two:
from port to port
Your goods are on their way from the China port to the European port. Here, too, we continuously monitor progress. Does the expected departure time match the actual departure time? What are the latest milestones? The dashboard gives us a clear overview.
Transport leg three:
from European port to Born or Valenton
When we look at deliveries to our warehouse in Born, for example, your goods go via the Meuse to the inland port in Born. You can also accurately track this part of the transport. If your container has been delayed in transport leg two, we will skip transport leg three. Our trucks drive to Rotterdam in time to pick up your container at the port and bring it to our warehouse. This is how we make up for lost time.
Transport leg four:
from our warehouse to your warehouses
If your container is transported via the Meuse to Born or from Valenton to Lieusaint, we will ensure rapid transit to our warehouse. The transit time is only one day. Then your goods go from our warehouse to your or your customer’s warehouses. We keep our finger on the pulse at that step too.
